After multiple sellout events across Bristol, BBTV came BACK and BETTER than ever with their BIGGEST show to date! On Saturday the 5th of October, 'The Runway Riot @ Coroners Court' delivered one of the most unique Drum and Bass nights that Bristol has ever seen. Powered by the MIGHTY SCOTLAND YARD SOUNDSYSTEM, the roof was well and truly raised — ear defenders and hardhats were definitely needed.
In true BoujeeBass TV fashion, they showcased some of the incredible producer talent around them in the scene. With previous 100% Production Showcases from Master Error, Latte, ACP & Jenks, they upped the levels once again. Hailing from Czechia, 'MAGENTA' flew over to Bristol for his debut live production showcase in the city, taking us on a trip through his discography (old, new, and FRESH!) accompanied by one of the best crowd controllers around, 'WEEJII'.
This set was a HUGE exclusive and one not to be missed. If you thought the action stopped there, you were sorely mistaken… It wouldn't be a 'Runway Riot' without flying out some of that 'rowdy' Belgium energy. They brought two of the most sought-after upcoming producers from the land of the laser for a UK FIRST!!! 'NOIR B2B CUVURS' brought the house down, with Noir being one of BBTV's most requested artists and Cuvurs already having smashed multiple UK shows to pieces. Keeping the energy grooving on this set was Bristol MC Royalty in 'MC Stezzy'. Locked in. So 3 headline acts…
OH WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! BoujeeBass boys 'ACP B2B JENKS' were in charge of delivering a DUBPLATE SPECIAL, filled to the brim with unreleased exclusives from their own libraries and all their recent cheeky 'dub' acquisitions from across the scene. Alongside these two badboys, there were some very special showcases from 'STRANGER B2B ENTEI', 'WINSTON' & 'NERSHA B2B FRIZZ', supported by an array of talented microphone controllers: 'LINES', 'MOOKZ', 'SCOOBS', 'TJAY', and 'WATTZ'. Powered by an absolutely mega soundclash of 'KRITIKAL' & 'SOLSTICE' SOUND SYSTEMS, Room 2 was filled with enough sauce to bankrupt a pizzeria. Drafted up into the soundwar were 'R!PT!DE B2B ES', 'NOXXIC B2B KORMZ B2B SILVZ', and 'NEXUS B2B SKPY B2B MUZO'. Representing BASSBARN (and Birmingham to Ibiza), 'JAYBEE B2B C3' stepped up, and representing INSIGHT AUDIO, the snipers 'SHAWZY B2B HKNAPPO' brought the fire. Bringing the final barrage of artillery were 'XK B2B KELIZE' and 'CHLOCAINE B2B LORNA B2B ELSIE'.
